Today I had to go to the Urgent Care Unit; a nurse was waiting for me as soon as I was ready to be seen and she was lovely and very human. Then within 2 minutes of leaving the chat with her the doctor called me in. He was no-nonsense, real and hilarious. He listened to everything I said and helped in every way he could. He even took the time to explain everything to me so I fully understood what was wrong and what medication he was putting me on. I felt so supported and looked after and felt significantly happier when I left than when I went in. Thank you NHS and thank you Leicester Royal Infirmary.
