"Queens Birth Centre"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Anything else?

I recently gave birth to my third son in the Birth Centre at Queens hospital. The staff were amazing and the facilities in the birth centre are brilliant. I had a water birth which was a fantastic experience and one which I would recommend. My midwives were very understanding and supportive and helped me to have the birth I wanted. Before the birth I attended a natal hypnotherapy course in the birth centre. This is a brilliant course and the person who runs the course is very good and was very understanding of my personal situation when it came to discussing my concerns for this birth. This also helped my to achieve the birth I wanted with no pain relief. Overall this was the most amazing experience which has also helped for a quick post natal recovery.

I am absolutely delighted that you had such a positive experience of our maternity services. We are very proud of our new Birth Centre, and hundreds of women have now been able to have natural water births. I am also pleased that you found the natal hypnotherapy course to be so helpful. I will pass on your praise to the midwives concerned. Congratulations on the birth of your son. Yours sincerely, Flo Panel-Coates Director of Midwifery
