"It’s a very useful, handy service"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111

(as a service user),

I called the 111 service after I found a tablet on the floor. As I need to take a number of tablets I could not remember what this tablet was for and whether it would affect me badly if I failed to take it.

I gave all the details to the lady who answered my call and was advised that a clinician would call me back. The clinician did call back within 5 minutes and let me know that I would be fine if I did not take this one single tablet for one day.

As I forget things and get confused I found it very reassuring having a number that I could call to sort out a problem like this. It’s a very useful, handy service.
