"I was admitted to the Daresbury ..."

About: Warrington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to the Daresbury Wing on Wednesay the 21st:November 2007 and operated on about 4.30pm the same day.

I received a full left knee replacement joint. My consultant was a perfect gentleman.

After surgery and in the recovery suite I suddenly developed breathing difficulties I was told later a reaction from the anaesthetic. To say that I was in a state of

distress would be an understatement.There

was no panic from the nursing staff just absolute competance in assisting me with my situation and thanks to them, made a full recovery and returned to the ward.I thank all your staff for their medical care and dedication in assisting me to such an extent,I was discharged to my home on Saturday the 24th:November 2007.The doctor arranged a heart scan on the Thurs:and convinced me that my heart was in good condition.I am currently making steady progress at home.

I consider myself very fortunate that we have such skilled nursing staff within the N.H.S.and staff who are so dedicated in what they do.

Many thanks:Rod Boardman(weak tea no sugar).

What could be improved

Perhaps you will see that in my eyes, there

is nothing to be improved. All your staff including the domestics are absolutley first

class, nothing was too much trouble to anyone of them.

Once again many thanks.

Rod Boardman.
