Following two hip replacements, one in November 2012 and the other in July 2013 I wanted to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to the surgeon, members of his team together with the nursing staff. Although many patients complain about the nursing staff at night (which I admit can be very disturbing if you are in discomfort and trying to get a decent night’s sleep) very rarely is one in hospital after surgery for too long before you are on your way home again to recoup and catch up on sleepless nights. I have to say on both occasions the nursing staff at the Nuffield Orthopaedic were always professional, kind and supportive and on the second occasion some even remembered me (I hope for all the right reasons)! Following my latest post-operative clinic at the beginning of this month I am delighted that my operation has proved to have been a success, as was the first. I am already out and about with no crutches and working on getting fit. Many thanks.
