Dear Glenda I would firstly like to say thank you for taking the time to describe your experience of care at Wansbeck Hospital . It was an absolute pleasure to read your story. We know how vulnerable and frightened people can feel whilst in hospital. The staff in Wansbeck want to work every day to prevent our patients feeling this way. Small acts of kindness and compassion can mean a great deal, and I'm so pleased that you experienced this kind of care throughout your stay on ward 3. Thank you for acknowledging the long hours that staff can work and how this does not affect their ability to provide care that is efficient and always delivered with a smile, you are very kind. Your feedback will thrill the staff and I am going to make sure they all get to see it. I do hope that you are recovering well at home. Best Wishes, Annie Laverty – Director of Patient Experience
