I spent time in the AMU yesterday. The whole team from the consultant to the student nurse were professional but friendly . They kept me informed of what was happening throughout. All the treatments and investigations were carried out swiftly with care and I felt they were seeing me as a person. I also had a CT scan and the staff there were also very attentive and reassuring. I would like to thank all the staff for their brilliant care and I would also like to say I would not be worried about being a patient at SDH in future. Not that I would want to be a patient again!

The unit provides fast assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and treatment for people who have an urgent medical problem and we are pleased that you received brilliant care from the whole team. We know that this can be an anxious time for our patients, so it was good to hear that you felt they were attentive and reassuring and that you were kept informed of what was going on throughout your time on the unit. I know the team will be very pleased to see your feedback and we will pass your comments on to them.
