I was very scared of the whole experience, but everyone in the orthopaedics department and Amesbury ward was so reassuring and helpful for the whole time I was in hospital and that made my whole stay much better than I anticipated. The staff were, without exception, efficient, calm and helpful and I could not have wished for a more positive experience. The Consultant was a star!

Thank you for your comment about our orthopaedic department. It's important to us that our patients are comfortable and that our staff provide compassionate and professional care, so it was nice to hear that our staff looked after you well and were able to reassure you at a time when you were clearly scared and not sure what to expect. In the meantime, thank you again for your comments and I know the team will be pleased to hear that they played such an important part in making this such a positive experience for you while you were in hospital.
