What could be improved
the outpatient department has "suites" but really these are just filthy, crowded and poorly ventilated areas with chairs you really don't want to sit on -they needed throwing out years ago. The patient toilets are not suitable to be used -probably as bad as any filthy pub toilet -but this is meant to be a hospital and a superior class FOUNDATION hospital - how did they manage to get thet rating?
I noticed that the computer keyboards in the outpatients booking in area were clogged with filth and grime - the poor staff that have to use them must be carrying plenty of bugs on their hands -then they touch the notes that then go to the "suites" where the consultant/ doctor then picks up the notes full of all the lovely bugs and passes them on to the unsuspecting patient. I could go on but i think you get the idea.
"the staff -mainly friendly."
