Anything else?
In April I had a total hip replacement at the Horder Centre. My care was exemplary. I had a hip replacement 13 years ago elsewhere and the experience was not as good. The Horder was very busy, much busier than the private clinic I went to before, but it was very efficient and patient centred. I sensed that I could get things to slow down if I needed them to. It is an independent non NHS hospital that takes NHS patients, there was no discernible difference between the treatments given (I was NHS). It had an 'NHS attitude' in that I had what I needed and cost was not referred to, all the aids I required for post operative recovery at home were supplied at no cost and for as long as I needed them.
"excellent experience of total hip replacement"
