About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

I was not comfortable in the way I was treated, it was very painful.

The nurse was very offhand, if not rude.

The space provided was very limited and the nurse was right on top of me which made me uncomfortable and sick.

There was no talking, only orders being barked at me. I felt like a carcass not a person.

That is really disappointing to hear. I think this is a really important reminder for everyone to put themselves in the patient's shoes, and treat you as we would wish to be treated ourselves. I will be using this as an example in our customer services training with a clear message "do you want to be treated like a carcass or as a person". Thank you for taking the time and courage to share this.
