I was refereed from my doctors to the hospital where my doctor said that he would fax a letter across to northwick park maternity and ultra sound for an emergency ultrasound. This was 5 days ago, I called my doctors to see if they had actually sent the fax, i checked with the receptionist and they confirmed that the fax has been sent and they should have called, they gave me a number to call Northwick park on. I called them and kept getting a busy tone. I wasn't sure why it went to busy tone, so i found some other numbers i could try. I called 5 different numbers before i got through to someone, who was extremely rude, I asked if i was speaking to ultra sound, and she said no and hung up. I called back and asked is this northwick park, she replied with yes, I then asked if i could be transferred to ultrasound she did not reply and put me through to operator where i chose the ultrasound department - I got through to her again. She then asked me why i kept calling her, I told her I need to make an appointment, the operator put me through to here, she yelled at me down the phone saying this is not ultrasound and hung up. I called again and I was not taking no for an answer, I told her to put me through to someone who can help me, she then said 'wait', all i could here was her telling her college 'I've got my self a stalker'. never in my life have i been treated so rudely. I am not someone to start an argument, but i made it clear to her i wasn't taking this, I told her I was not stalking her, I am a customer at Northwick park, I want to book an emergency ultrasound I have been refereed by my doctor. - She then said 'call maternity' and hung up. she did not give me maternity's number, so i had to google it. When i called maternity at around 2.20 I got through to a voicemail saying, if you want to confirm an appoitment please leave a message if not call back atfter 9am, you can start recording your message now. I hung up and tried a different number, the same message came up, I left a message asking someone to call me back 32 hours later no one has called me back. I find this service dreadful, the lady clearly new i was a pregnant women. booking an emergency appointment.
