Anything else?
What has happened to the efficienrt well managed facility at Deal's Minor Injuries ? I took my teenager, at the request of school, with a finger injury sustained in a PE lesson. We spent the first 5-10 mins at the 'window' giving our personal details and explaining the injury. We were seated in the waiting area (nobody else present), a nurse arrives paper and pen in hand and asks all the same questions "oh this has to go onto the computer"?,obviously a different one than the first lady used!! we then go through to a bay and are asked for details to complete another form..."name...address...D.O.B....does anyone in the family have a social worker....sister's name......? at which I point I stopped the nurse and told her I didn't see the relevance of her questions (still nobody has looked at the injury!). My child had a swollen finger and had arrived in school uniform straight from school and was capable of explaining the injury. Two hours later! we arrived back from x-ray, my teenager went alone to see the results of the pic whilst I stayed with my aggravated autistic, epileptic adult child. My teenager was questioned "are you ok ? is everything ok at home, your mum seems cross?" How dare they! So because I dont want to be on "Big Brother's register" (for a swollen finger) I'm cross ?! and you dare to question my childs safety at home ? What on earth has happened to the sensible people with common sense that used to work in the NHS ? Don't get me wrong, I do get it, but please, have cause to be suspicious before you go interrogating everyone with the same spotlight! #madness #waste of time and money!!
"What's going on?"
