"I have more confidence now and will deal with my anxiety"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

I have had panic attacks for most of my life, but did not know what they were. I did not realise what the matter was.

When I was referred to Inclusion Matters, I was not sure that they would be able to help me. My therapist Hannah listened to me and explained to me that I was normal and helped me to understand. She told me to face up to my feelings and how to challenge and confront them using breathing and not relying on safety behaviour.

I have more confidence now and will deal with my anxiety with the strategies I have learned from my time with Inclusion Matters.

I am getting better!

"My manual is my bible".

Dear Cold777

I am very pleased you have learned how to overcome your long standing feelings of anxiety and that your confidence has grown as a result. Long may that continue.

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience of attending our service and I will ensure Hannah receives your kind message.

Best wishes

Sian
