(as a relative),

We would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the excellent care and support from the NHS nursing staff of St George's Surgery, Blackburn for their ongoing care.

They have performed their duties with the utmost professionalism yet at the same time showed their understanding of the emotional and stressful situation they encountered.

Much is reported of failings within the NHS, it should be people like yourselves who make the headlines. The wonderful support, sympathetic care and dedication to duty shown to both patients or family.

We have nothing but praise for these nurses who must find themselves emotionally and physically affected.

A massive heartfelt thank you from us all.

This is a joint effort from Community Matrons and District Nurses. This patient's experience is an excellent example of shared care. I have forwarded the details to the Community Matron’s in East Lancashire.
