"Dreadful elderly care"

I have been very shocked by the nursing staff's lack of efficiency, but most particularly by their rudeness and lack of compassion and kindness. With the exception of one nurse, they seem to treat all elderly people as if they have dementia and don't even bother to reply to my mother when she speaks to them. They bring pain relief very late, don't assist my mother in washing or going to the toilet and seem to hate their jobs. Having been in quite a few NHS hospitals over the years with various family members, I am truly shocked by the 'care' at Hull Royal.
