"I made a comment about the hospital ..."

What I liked

I made a comment about the hospital on the 26th June 2008 and although I stand by almost everything that I said about the hospital at the time of my visit I would like add a few things!

I now know that the section of the Intensive Care Unit my Mum was on at the time was some kind of overflow area as she has since moved back to this unit and into a state of the art bed with highly attentive and professional staff caring for her. The ward she had been moved too was also much cleaner during my second visit, so it must have been a bad day the first time and the staff were excellent here too.

What could be improved

Nothing other than the points raised in my other comment, however I must withdraw my comment about the people of Preston being easily pleased, as I can now see that the staff alone make Preston Royal a special hospital.

With a bit more funding and updating you would have a hospital second to none, your staff really do need new facilities though!
