I was taken in to Poole Hospital by ambulance in mid August with severe neck pain and initially seen in A&E then taken into Ansty Ward overnight.. Everyone I came into contact with, from consultant to cleaner, was excellent. I was treated very well and the food was of a good standard. Once my problem was diagnosed and treatment started, I had the opportunity to have a talk with the doctor who explained everything in simple terms. The only thing that went wrong was I was told to contact my GP to arrange a chest test for six weeks after my discharge. On contacting my GP, I was told that the hospital had arranged an appointment for this test and I am now trying to find out about that appointment because I have not been given a date.
