"Re thrombosis scan"

About: Barnsley Hospital

Anything else?

I was asked to attend the thrombosis clinic as my own GP thought I had a blood clot in my leg, 1st nurse was ok and then was sent for a scan which I booked in at the desk, I was left in the waiting room (no one knew I was there) why when I was booked in, then we get to the person who did the scan. I explained that I had trouble lifting my legs as I need bilateral hip replacement her comment was "well I can not do scan if you can not get on table" very helpful, as there was a younger woman there she lifted my legs and I got on table, she then said that she was having trouble with the scan as I could not bend which way she wanted so she asked someone else to do the scan another lady came in a did the scan while this was happening the 1st scan woman was justifying herself for not being able to do the scan blaming me and talking about me as if I was not there. The lack of respect was very apparent and I did not return for a further scan. I do think these people need some help with people politics I would recommend that if you need a TB scan Find another hospital
