What I liked
I stayed on Winstanley Ward on two occasions, once in December and once in January, and it can only be described as the "hotel" of Chorley Hospital. The staff are wonderful. It is clean, friendly and caring. I was undergoing surgery for breast cancer both times and the whole experience in the ward was as pleasant as could be possible.
