"7 Days Nightmare QE maternity go private or..."

Anything else?

We have had to wait 5.5 hrs for paracetamol, then the next days another 5 hrs for further medication then yesterday 5 hrs to see if my wife could eat as she was told nil by mouth yesterday and they cancelled the operation. So she was starving for 2 days and has dietary diabetes. The staff are a joke and no consistent approaches one midwife says one thing and another midwife another thing.. The staff only seem to respond to people who swear and shout at them. If you ask politely you get left alone and forgotten about what a rubbish service this is if you ask for things politely Then they were going to do a c-section on Friday then cancelled it then Saturday then cancelled again now they are saying Sunday. Today is Sunday watch this space.

I am sorry that you are not satisfied with your experience on our maternity wards. This is certainly not the standard of care that we strive for in our department. Would you please contact Jacqui Kempen (Midwifery Matron) on j.kempen@nhs.net or 0208 836 6350 who will be able to investigate the matter.
