"Visit to A&E and overnight stay within CCU"

I'd like to begin this review in praising both the Sisters/ nurses (including student nurse) on morning and afternoon shifts within A&E and CCU, the way in which they went about caring for me a fellow patients was exemplary. I was in considerable discomfort suffering with a condition which makes my heart beat irregularly and quite fast. within the hour I was attached intravenously to a drug to lower my heart rate, Flecanide has from experience reverted my heart back to sinus rhythm within 2 hours, however the decision was made to use a different drug, which took a little longer to reach the same result (including and overnight stay in CCU), and the following day required me to attend A& E as the drug caused considerable pain and swelling in my wrist. Beds were in high demand in CCU on my arrival to A&E, by mid afternoon I was taken up to Coronary care and greeted by Sister and the Staff nurses, who were fantastic, I felt totally reassured by their professional behaviour they were all attentive, requests were dealt with quickly and with genuine care. In my working career now extending to nearly 30 years with supervisory experience I believe the people working for you really can make a difference, therefore Managers for both departments should be very pleased with their teams..
