The NHS gets so much negative press I wanted to put into words the appreciation I feel towards the staff in Cray Ward Block B at Queen Mary's Sidcup. The ward was clean tidy and comfortable and the staff were excellent and this included everyone . However a special thanks goes to the Staff Nurse who was a breath of fresh air and an inspiration in the way they went about their work which they obviously enjoy. During my time there I heard that the hospital was due to be scaled down and closed. This is a massive mistake on the evidence I saw during my recent overnight stay on the 3/4th Sept 2013. First class care all round from the moment I walked through the door. Thank you to all.
