I have been to a&e 3 times with my mother and they keep sending her home after settling her stomach. No notes have been sent to our GP. The pain is so much worse. An endoscopy needs to be done urgently yet she's on more then 12 tabs to control the pain. The GP has only yesterday sent the referral, how long?! God only knows. No one is helping and tonight will most likely be another trip to a&e where I sit n watch her in agony for 8 hours before being spoken too. A junior doctor comes to assess and still asks stupid questions. What are you people waiting for? Are all senior doctors not needed anymore..? A&n needs improving and as for the nurses, the attitude as if they own the place also needs changing... One star for each has been an effort. One example; She was sick n the bowl which was left on sink and picked up after 4 hours, disgusting..

It is very difficult to be with a loved one when they are in pain and you feel that none of the healthcare professionals are helping. In A&E, the aim is to assess, treat and complete patient’s care within 4 hours, we are sorry if you felt that you waited 8 hours before anyone spoke to you. I would like to assure you that your feedback will be made available to staff. Nursing staff will be reminded of our CARES values and the need to be courteous and respectful at all times and in all situations. Clearly as this is posted anonymously, it is not possible to investigate. However, if you would like to contact me I would be very happy to meet with you and hear your concerns.
