I had a good experience with the majority of doctors involved in my care when I was admitted to Basildon Hospital however the cleanliness of the hospital was disgraceful as there was urine and blood in the toilets that hadnt been cleaned and seeing as I have a condition that means that I have to use the toilet a lot it wasn't a surprise that I contracted C Diff. Even when I had this disease and was put into isolation I had to keep asking the cleaning staff to clean my room as they kept "forgetting" to clean my room! Overall though my care and treatment was good, the only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness of the facilities and I think that this is a major problem at Basildon Hospital.
