About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

I recently visited a patient at RBH and have to say how impressed I was with everything i could see and the treatment and care shown to my friend there.

However I notice signs everywhere saying that it is a smoke free building and even the entire site itself.

I was totaly disgusted to see patients and visitors outside the door and under shelters SMOKING despite all the signs..

In my opinion these people should be removed from the hospital grounds as the signs clearly state. And the patients found smoking informed that it is an insult to the medical teams who are trying to help them recover from there illness.

Yours Sincerely

Gerald Holden ( Barrowford )

Thank you for your comment, work is being done to stop/reduce patients and visitors from smoking on the Hospitals Sites and to reduce smoking in general.
