My mum had a stroke on the 9th August 2013 and we took her to the A & E at PRUH. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the care and attention my mum received from first entering the A & E Dept to being admitted to the Stroke Unit. Unfortunately by mum passed away on 18th August 2013, but the staff respected her dignity and were wonderful right up to the end. The doctors and nurses explained things to you and were always willing to listen and help you with any concerns you had. Thank you so much Stroke Unit PRUH.
