"I went to the royal blackburn ..."

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I went to the royal blackburn last month. because i had a very servre groin pain. the A&E staff help me very well and got me sorted out. I wish to thank the staff in that department.

What could be improved

I got a perscription and went to the pharmacy within the hosptial.and they said to me. that they only accept outpatients perscriptions only. I think they should be allowed to accpect other and they could make a bit more money to improve the nhs. i was pretty annoyed that i had to go a chemist near where i lived. please comment on this note.

The Trust has made changes to the prescribing process as due to the large volume of prescriptions issued.

Since the beginning of July, these prescriptions have been withdrawn from the ED and substituted with in-house prescriptions which are dispensed on site.
