My story stats in May, waking up with pain in m left upper leg/femur area - telephone conversation with my doctor resulted in a trip to Princess Royal Hospital A&E department.
I was seen within 15 minutes. Doctor then recommended x-ray, diagnoses was neuralgia on the femoral valve. I was wheelchair bound for 2 weeks with the use of crutches.
A visit to my doctor followed, who referred me for physiotherapy. I was seen by Kelly for six weeks, she worked wonders on my back and legs, then she suggested the hydropool where Kathy took over as physio.
I must add I am now 87 years old and I now feel quite invigorated. Much more confident for walking a short distance and now manage with one crutch.
Grateful thanks to all concerned.
