"I now feel quite invigorated"

About: NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG The Princess Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

My story stats in May, waking up with pain in m left upper leg/femur area - telephone conversation with my doctor resulted in a trip to Princess Royal Hospital A&E department.

I was seen within 15 minutes. Doctor then recommended x-ray, diagnoses was neuralgia on the femoral valve. I was wheelchair bound for 2 weeks with the use of crutches.

A visit to my doctor followed, who referred me for physiotherapy. I was seen by Kelly for six weeks, she worked wonders on my back and legs, then she suggested the hydropool where Kathy took over as physio.

I must add I am now 87 years old and I now feel quite invigorated. Much more confident for walking a short distance and now manage with one crutch.

Grateful thanks to all concerned.

It is wonderful to hear from an invigorated 87 year old, and great to hear that everything has progressed well. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
