"The consultant was unable to get my notes up on the screen"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I attended my GP with stomach pains, he gave me an ultrasound scan of my abdomen and told me I had gallstones and would recommend the removal of my gallbladder.

I then attended the University Hospital North Staffordshire. I explained what had taken place with my GP, but because the consultant was unable to get my notes up on the screen (which I have been told is a common thing) I now have to have another ultrasound scan, and another gastroscopy, this one being the second in nine months.

Is this not a waste of money to duplicate what my GP has already done!
