"Thank you for looking after my father"

About: Weston General Hospital

Anything else?

My 92yr old father was admitted, as an emergency to Weston General Hospital on Thursday 29th August via A&E with a brain haemorrhage. The care that he received on arrival was amazing. He was treated promptly, with consideration and dignity, and at every stage we were included in the decision making process and notified of all the relevant health issues. He remained unconscious for several days and was looked after by a dedicated team of nurses, doctors and palliative care specialists on a general ward. The staff were kind and compassionate but at all times thoroughly professional. The whole hospital was immaculately clean and my father was nursed to the highest standards until he died peacefully. I wish to thank all the staff a the hospital for the excellent care that my father received at the end of his life. It is a great comfort for all his family and friends to know that he could not have been in a better place.
