"Primary Care response"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

We visited the Primary Care facility as my wife had become very confused and distressed one evening. The doctor managed to calm her down and carried out an examination, explaining at each stage why he was doing it. Nothing seemed to much trouble and he soon identified and resolved the main cause of the distress. This gave us something to work on and we left the facility knowing what we needed to do next. Although we still have the underlying problem, the distress was resolved. My wife came home much calmer.

Thanks for your comments, we are pleased that we were able to help calm your wife down. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services.
