What I liked

As of today 29th May i have yet to make an appointment on the choose and book site as every time i have accessed this area there have been - no appoinments currently available - and to be told to try again at a later date which i have been doing since the 1st of the month. I have telephoned the number given to speak to someone who advised me to go back to my doctor for him to get onto the hospital !! the best is i have now recieved 2 letters reminding me to book my appointment and that it is important to do so as soon as possible - believe me i am trying

What could be improved

When the choose and book site comes up there should be a record of who has accessed the site on what date and how many times they have visited, then maybe an e-mail could then be sent out to them to say that appointments are now available and for them to return to the site and make their appiontment. Instead of just red lettering saying there are no appointments currently available please try again with no date in sight as to when they might be some slots free - if it is a very busy department why have the choose and book if no-body can get through?
