What could be improved

Despite 5 members of staff in the reception office, Clerical, security? etc , I waited over 3 hours in A & E recently and left, still without treatment, because I could not cope with the pain I was in. I have a condition that means I dislocate my joints very easily and my skin breaks very easily so I have had many, hospital visits for sutures and joint injuries. This hospital is dirty, shabby, squalid and out of date. I should know as I am a qualified nurse and midwife. I listened to nursing staff discuss who should do what and who should be seen for 30 mins, but they actually did nothing, perhaps because they were overwhelmed with the numbers waiting.My husband is attending next week for a scan and I will be paying close attention to his care.
