"Elbow arthroscopy by Dr Ravi Mahajan"

About: Leicester General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I injured my elbow when I fell playing cricket. Over the course of 18 months the pain got worse and could not fully straighten the elbow and kept locking a 2/3 times a week.

Subsequently an operation was carried out July 2013 by Dr Mahajan (arthroscopy and a nerve was decompressed)

I have to say all the team including the anesthetist and surgeon at the Leicester General were so pleasant and friendly.

Now 7 weeks and am very happy with the results. pain has gone down considerably, still cant fully extend elbow but very hopeful of improvement in the coming months.

Also so far elbow not locking: )
