"Staff in Carnkie ward are all angels"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

My mum was admitted to Carnkie ward one in September 2013. From the minute she got in the ambulance to the hospital she received the best care could ever wish for.

My sister and I took shifts to be by her side at all times of the day she did days and I did the night shift and all I can say about the staff in the Carnkie ward it that they are all Angels.

Nothing was any trouble at all. They took care of mum in the kindest way they could. If I could give the highest praise even that would not be enough for them but sadly with all the best efforts of all the nurses and other staff even the cleaners got to no them all by name. So I would like to tell you all a very big thank you from the bottom of my heart in loving memory of my mum, and my sister and me hope they share this with you all on the ward.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave your comments at a difficult time for you and your family. It is always good to hear such positive comments regarding the compassion of our nurses and all staff. All the staff work extremely hard to provide the best care possible for our patients and your comments are gratefully received. I would like to offer my condolences on behalf of the trust and thank you again for your feedback. - Helen Wenger, Matron
