"Long waiting time with my son "

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was seen by a call out doctor on Saturday on Digby ward after been seen at A&Eabout his eye he was given another appointment for 2 days after he was last seen.

We was told when we got there they just needed to get his paper work and he will be seen so we sat and waited 1 hour 30 minutes later still nothing. My son is on the Austic spectrum and doesn't like to sit still for very long as u could imagine what he was like he was getting very fidgety.

So I went to ask what was taking so long the receptionist said they still waiting on his paper work so they still didn't have that and she also said they was short of staff well think it's absolutely disgusting to make a child wait for that long (and could of been a lot longer but my son wanted to go home so we did )

I really want to make a complaint but don't know who to contact, ill be taking my son back to his own GP about his eye as there no chance ill be making him sit and wait that long again.

Really not happy about this and how Lincoln hospital are getting and there response all the time is sorry we're short of staff I don't think that is good enough for a hospital.
