About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

Anything else?

Visited with ny son to have a foot looked at following a motorbike accident. He has panic attacks and from the minute we arrived the staff all went out of their way to ensure he was assessed, x-rayed and plastered quickly and treated in a way that made him relax. The triage nurse was professional but good fun, another member of staff x-rayed him and was quietly courteous and reassuring, and the nurse who did the plastering was also brilliant .The service was over and above anything I ever expected.Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to post your compliment on the NHS choices web site. I was delighted to read the complimentary comments you have made regarding your son’ treatment when he attended the Accident and Emergency Department at Macclesfield Hospital. I know people do find visiting the hospital a traumatic experience and it is lovely to read that the staff helped your son through this difficult time. I have passed your compliments on to the various departments and hopefully the staff members concerned will know who they are as compliments are such a boost to morale. Thank you
