"the worst experience of my life"

About: Newham General Hospital

Anything else?

Reading all the reviews just make my situation'' easy '' ...I don t need to tell you want happen yesterday on maternity assessment ,because i think you already know from the other comments...so is better for you to do something about it,take some actions....and really quickly. First of all you need to: hire more qualify staff train them the skills of communication train them to speak a decent English Then you need to control them ,to see if they do their jobs properly ...show them where are doing wrong and teach them not to do it again. The lake of professionalism is huge. Briefly i want to share my story ....just in case someone wants to know...but i don't think is important to anyone ,seeing the vote that this hospital have after the reviews.. Yesterday been there ,send by my midwife,on maternity ward...with sort of breath....i got there 8.30 am ...and left 1 pm.after all this hours spent there just waiting and praying that someone see me... i took my pregnancy book and left. in 4,5 hours they manage to take me some blood samples, listen my baby for some minutes...and finally done an ECG ....but in the end was nobody there to tell me if the results was ok ...so they want me to wait for the next shift ,afternoon one,to have some answers...ridiculous At some point one doctor came i suppose, she ask me about my symptoms, but she wasn' t so impress of my description and left ,telling i'll be back .And she never came back....but mean wild the midwife try to reassure me that she didn't forget about me...while i was standing there and waiting. What a funny place to be....being pregnant in 32 weeks, with severe back pain, sort of breath, eating nothing all day...so I am wondering :why are you treat the patients like that? Just ridiculous...this in not a hospital...is a catwalk for the staff, walking from 8 in the morning with their mugs full of coffee and tea...that what it is. I arrived first in maternity assessment and left the last one ...going home still with my problem and without no answer...what a shame :(! Please don't respond to me with the standard answer, because this will not solve my problem and no one else either...Just find solutions!!! Thank you!!!
