Had a Morton’s neuroma diagnosed by the very helpful and efficient Ortho podiatrist at the Western. MRI and steroid injection followed as planned with only short wait.
Unfortunately, injection didn’t work for me so surgery scheduled.
A few months later I was in GGH ward 2a early morning and can only offer thanks and praise to all staff for kind and professional manner – nurses putting you at ease, surgeon and anaesthetist came in to explain procedure and happy to answer any questions. All went smoothly and plenty of aftercare and out mid afternoon feeling fine. Now just to wait and see how the foot reacts over next few months.
As I work for the NHS I was delighted to see how well this service was run and can only offer thanks to all involved.
