"waiting to see consultant"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

Anything else?

after 12 weeks of extreme pain I am no nearer to a solution had x ray 2 weeks wait for result had scan 3 weeks for result, eventually saw the consultant's under study, took blood tests really hurt me on examination. l was in tears when left went back following week, under study again, said surgery was required explained every thing, fetched the consultant, he treated me as a nothing. didn't really look at my knee, said it was arthritis and to make appointement to see another doctor. there was a 12/ 16 week wait unless I paid and then could be seen in 4 days. Against the grain I paid only to be told it was definitely not arthritis needed asap surgery and treatment to avoid any serious developments. now am waiting again to see orthopaedic surgeon when will this end have lost all faith in queens service. yours carol hill
