"hospital stay in haematology unit"

first of all i want to stay that the above star ratings are for the haematology unit only not the hospital as a whole. i was admitted on the 26th august following my 4th round of chemo. i rang the unit for advice as i had a temperature and was not feeling well. i was advised to go to the unit to be assessed, from the assessment i was admitted. my first night was on the admissions ward as there was no side room for me on haematology. ( had to have a side room due to decreased blood count ) i was transferred to ward 42 ( haematology ) the next morning. from the moment i entered the ward i was shown friendliness and most of all the staff all had a careing nature.Each and every staff member were excellent.!! they were all highly professional, knowledgeable, and above all extremely friendly. nothing was too much trouble for them. I was informed every step of the way what was going to happen to me. Excellent service and excellent care. Well done haematology. Keep up the good work!!!
