"Go doc and admittance to ward."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

Phoned am emergency doc after a 3 week illness, and referred to go doc at mri.4-30pm.Sunday 25/8/13.Seen quickly, told blood test needed and I would only have a 2 hour wait for results, and not the 4 hour wait.Doc told me this as I was clearly very ill.Diagnosis [hypokelemia]couldn't walk.I have no problem with any staff member, but my overall wait was 5 hours before admission to amu to be put on a drip.Staff have to deal with a lot from drunks and addicts. When your sick and at the point of collapse, these people are a great nusiance to staff and patients alike.I just think that if u have an appointment things should be quickerthan walking into a&e. My next comment has nothing but praise, for all the staff in amu. After 48 hours, amazing staff gave me my health back, and from what I gather my life, nothing was too much trouble.Nice doctos who made time to answer my questions. From arriving to leaving I was treated wonderfully by every single person I came into contact with.I am not a demanding patient, which is why my illness lasted so long, and I believe could have proved fatal by what I now read.Amu staff at mri, I applaud you.I am roberta hilton.Room 54.You are angels thank you.
