I have had a previous experience of this department where the attention and care received was exemplary... that's because they thought I was having a heart attack! In the event I wasn't ( thank goodness). Pitch up at A&E or the Urgent Care Centre without an immediate life threatening condition and I'm surprised that they don't attempt to charge you council tax given the amount of time you are likely to spend there. In the A&E dept today there was much drama from what appeared to be newly qualified doctors who have clearly watched too much reality TV! I approached the desk inside A&E after being there for ages and suggested that id be better off going home or seeking medical attention elsewhere as clearly there was no way i was gong to be attended. They seem surprised but offered the olive branch of me popping back if the already bad infection in my leg appeared to have spread .. thanks guys !
