About: Milton Keynes Hospital

Anything else?

I was absolutely discusted by being refused treatment and told to go to my local hospital or GP. I have leg ulcers which needs the dressings changed every two days. I stated that I was unable to go to the Luton & Dunstable hospital or my GP in Dunstable as I am working for 10 days in Milton Keynes ,doing holiday cover and not able to leave my job for a long period. I was told to go to the emergency walk in center. they told me they did not have the dressings. I phoned 111 and was told to phone a local doctor as a temporary patient. They refused me as well. I have now gone 6 days without my dressing being changed and is beginning to smell. Discusting!!!

Firstly, Milton Keynes Hospital would like to apologise for the length of time it has taken to reply. Unfortunatly the Walk-in Centre (now called Urgernt Care Centre) and the GP surgery do not fall under the governece of the hospital. If you wish to pass this infomation onto the correct department you can write to: NHS England PO Box 16738 Redditch B97 9PT Telephone: 0300 311 22 33 (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, excluding English Bank Holidays) Email: england.contactus@nhs.net Thank you.
