"Appreciation for Queen Mary's all the way from..."

About: St Georges at Queen Mary's Hospital (London)

Anything else?

My wife's mother and my mother-in-law has been a patient at Queen Mary's. I have given Queen Mary's "five stars" in the polling preceeding this communication block because we value the service and can only believe what the surroundings are like based on feedback from family and friends. First, let me say - all the way from Canada - that we believe Queen Mary's staff, particularly in the Mary Secole Ward are dedicated, top-notch professionals......and that's across the board for staff...from nurses to doctors, from cleaners to clerks. My mother-in-law has been recovering thanks to the kind and attentive care she has been receiving. I talked to her today, long-distance by telephone and she sounded better than in months. Our heartfelt thanks to the person with whom I talked on the telephone and who made the telephone communication with my mother-in-law possible. Bravo! We have family and friends reporting by telephone about my mother-in-law's treatment and surroundings at Queen Mary's Hospital and all reports are "five star"! It is not easy dealing with important things, such as a family member's hospital stay, by long-distance. However, my wife and I have found that in any of our long-distance (and costly from this end!) telephone approaches to Queen Mary's staff we have always found assistance and never been disconnected. This in itself is worthy of high praise to the staff which I believe goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist patients and family members of patients. We wish we could shake your hands with a personal thank you.... but this e-mail communication will have to suffice until we can attend in person. Thank you to all of you at Queen Mary's who maintain courage and composure in the face of sometimes difficult duties and who help our loved ones in their time of need. This is all very much appreciated by family members, such as us, whether we live in London, England, or here in the Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada. Thank you! P.S. I am putting down that I visited the hospital in August 2013, because we have had dealings with the hospital by telephone this month and as recently as just hours ago. I hope that can count as a "visit". Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to express your kind words of appreciation. Your comments will be passed on to the staff from Mary Secole ward.
