"Well done!"

About: Lister Hospital

Anything else?

My mum was admitted Sunday 25th August after being assessed by a lovely young lady who was the initial paramedic. The ambulance crew were efficient and friendly. The staff, especially the nurses were absolutely faultless, caring, but super efficient. the porters also were helpful and friendly. I stayed with my mum until 5am, by which time she had been transferred to 8A South, where she continued to have excellent care and treatment until she was discharged at 4pm on Monday. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us through a worrying time from beginning to end. Please give all concerned a pat on the back!

So glad to hear that your mother - and by definition you to - was treated so well whilst at the Lister over the recent bank holiday weekend. Any visit to A&E, especially if an ambulance needs to be called, can be a a really stressful time for all involved - and A&Es on bank holiday weekends are often very busy places to start with! So we were so pleased that you felt the care you received, initially from the ambulance team and then our A&E and ward teams, was so good. We'll make sure that your feedback reaches all those involved in your mother's care as quickly as possible and can we take this opportunity to wish both of you well for the future.
