Anything else?
I just wanted to say that the care my baby and I received at the royal surrey was fantastic; I can't speak highly enough of the maternity team. After my waters broke at 34 weeks, an un-nerving experience to say the least, the staff in St Catherine's looked after me extremely well and my baby was delivered safe and well by an incredibly supportive delivery team (especially the lady who caught him mid-air as he arrived at speed). Despite being in hospital for a week and a half, I felt able to care for my baby myself with excellent, non-judgmental and consistent support from the team. Treatment for my baby (who needed UV light for jaundice amongst other things in transitional care) was explained well to me and my partner and every member of staff took the time to make sure we were comfortable with what was happening, and importantly to comfort us when we were upset or worried. I felt incredibly safe, and despite the complications of an early birth had a very positive experience, for which your staff are almost entirely responsible. I can't thank them enough.
