"Trauma & Orthopaedics - positive experience"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Anything else?

I attended A&E on 27th July following a fall and was admitted for surgery to fix ankle fractures. The A&E staff were excellent and I would particularly like to thank the ENP & A&E Technicians. I had an extended stay in Recovery and felt well cared for there too. My experience on both Seabathing ward and on Quex ward was mostly positive, especially from the night staff. I had confidence in the doctors but I would have liked more detail about the exact nature of my injury, the surgical procedure and the likely outcomes.
