About: Royal Free Hospital

Anything else?

I went to the Royal Free with severe abdominal pain for the 4th time this year. I am a pre dialisis patient with only 5% kidney function. As my polycistic kidneys have grown to a giant level and the pressure they are making inside my abdomen is what's bringing me to hospital all the time I have asked to have one of them removed. After being admired for this purpose I am discharged the next day by a doctor says I just have to deal with this pain than unfourtanetly I tend to be one of the people with polycistic kidneys that does have pain issues. They are not gona waste their time treating me I should just get on with this and bam they discharge me with severe pain and vomiting and told just take some parecetamol and wait to get better. Shame on you NHS as patients well being is not on the fore front of your mind but rather just saving money. I could have some quality of life on dialisis without pain rather than having a few more months off dialisis but always in the hospital. The pain killers are killing my liver as I also have liver fibrosis congenital. So here I am going home barely being able to walk but kicked out of the hospital.
